    Patentansprüche
    1. Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Karzinogenizität von chemischen oder physikalischen Agentien, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine ausgewählte Linie von mit Tumorvirus transformierten Zellen dem zu prüfenden Agens aussetzt und bestimmt, ob diese Aussetzung endogene Replikation der Virus DNS in diesen Zellen induziert, wobei die Induktion durch in situ Hybridisierung die Karzinogenizität des geprüften Agens anzeigt.
    2c Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die verwendeten Zellen SV40-transformierte Zellen des Chinesischen Hamsters sind.
    3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, wobei die verwendete ZeIllinie ein von Embryozellen des Chinesischen Hamsters abgeleitetes, als CO50 bezeichnetes Klon-Isolat oder eine als CO60 bezeichnete Zellinie oder eine andere SV40 transformierte Zellinie des Chinesischen Hamsters

    Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei die Replication der Virus- DNS durch die _in situ Hybridisierüngstechnik bestimmt wird,bei der der durch die Behandlung mit Karzinogenen erhöhte Gehalt an SV40-DNS oder an anderen spezifischen DNS-

    Sequenzen durch Hybridisierung gegen eine P SV40-
    32 DNS Probe oder eine andere spezifische P-DNS Probe bestimmt wird.
    5. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei das Karzinogen ein chemisches Karzinogen ist.
    6. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei das Karzinogen ein physikalisches Karzinogen ist.
    7. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man das Ausmaß der DNS-Vermehrung mißt,das Information über den Grad der Karzinogenizität des geprüften Agens liefert.
    8. Verfahren zur Früherkennung von Karzinogenese auf
    der Basis von Genvermehrung,gekennzeichnet durch in situ Hybridisierung zwischen denauf Karzinogenizität geprüften

    Zellen und P DNS Proben für vermehrte DNS Sequen-
    5 ζen, wobei der Test mit dispergierten Zellen(dispersed cell
    assay) oder der Test mit Zellen auf einer Scheibe (disc cell assay) benutzt wird.
