sind.-VWichtüng- to determine the light transmission of thin layers,
"" in particular photographic layers The subject matter of the present invention
is a device for determining the light transmission of thin layers, in particular
photographic layers, in the case of the image locations of an optical layer which images the layer
System a slit diaphragm on the side of the slit diaphragm facing away from the optical system
a photoelectric measuring device is arranged and at the means for observation
of the image of the layer generated by the optical system is provided during the measurement
are.
In devices of this known type, the observation of the im
Image location generated image of the layer by using as a projection surface
- Enables trained slit diaphragm.
The inventive arrangement is that between the
Slit diaphragm and the measuring device, a beam splitting device and an eyepiece
are arranged and the slit diaphragm is designed as a color filter, which only
passes those rays to which the photoelectric measuring device does not respond.
The advantage of this arrangement over the known is that not only the areas of the layer which are depicted in a wide area next to the gap, but also the areas of the layer depicted on the gap itself are visible. The part of the layer shown next to the gap appears lighter, on a larger scale and in a larger area, without any real loss of light occurring in the gap itself. A further advantage of the arrangement according to the invention consists in the fact that the objectively located between the slit diaphragm and object space can be surrounded by a housing, so that no stray light falls through the gap on the measuring device.
2 dargestellt, in geometrisch bestimmter Form, z. B. rechteckiger Form, eine Blendenöffnung
9 befindet.
The following is based on the schematic drawing (Fig. I and 2)
the basic structure of the measuring arrangement is described: z is a light source,
2 a condenser, 3 the layer to be measured and q. the beam path through the optical
Device, 5 is the objective and 6 is the collective lens of the optical device.
According to the invention, the replaceable color filter screen 8 is arranged at the image location 7.
It is advisable to use a red or yellow filter in which, as shown in Fig.
2 shown, in a geometrically defined shape, for. B. rectangular shape, an aperture
9 is located. The light rays pass through this aperture in the area of the
across the entire spectrum, also pass through the partially translucent mirror
io, meet the reflection prism i i and are sensitive to light by this
Cell of the measuring device 12 thrown, in which then in a known manner depending on
the amount of light acting on it, i.e. depending on the permeability
- the layer to be measured, more or less large changes in current or voltage
come into effect. That which is also applied to the photoelectric measuring system
Filter light has no measuring effect.
Part of the filtered and unfiltered light is used by the
partially permeable mirror io in a known manner through the eye lens 13 of the
optical device passed to the eye 14 of the observer.
