In allen
Fällen wollte man eben eine erhebliche Azidität erreichen.Process for the production of a fruit or vegetable juice containing
Toothpaste The invention relates to a fruit or vegetable juice, in particular orange
or toothpaste containing lemon juice. Such. Pastes stand out both
characterized by a refreshing taste and a pleasant aroma as well
by the fact that they have a grueling and loosening effect on the tartar deposits.
In the case of the known pastes of this type, this effect was essentially attributed to the strong
acidic character of toothpastes too. For this reason, instead of the
common basic or alkaline, consisting of chalk, magnesia, soap, etc.
Basic masses of acidic or neutral, indifferent masses, such as acidic and phosphoric acid
Calcium, potassium sulphate, organic bases, etc., can be used. In all
In cases one wanted to achieve a considerable acidity.
Even with the known processes for the production of toothpastes. at
which have already thickened fruit juices partially blunted with carbonate of lime
has to reduce the excessively sour taste a bit, should always use the
acidic character of the pastes are preserved.
However, toothpastes have an acidic reaction because of their astringent properties
Most people find the taste unpleasant and the acidic pastes
the strong foaming and thus cleaning effect is also missing. so are
therefore almost exclusively neutral or weakly alkaline pastes in traffic.
Since the aromatic substances in the vegetable juices are dulled by the acids, e.g.
B. by means of pure carbonate of lime, are not affected in any way, such as
this is also known from the deacidification of the must using carbonate of lime, whereby
the already existing aromatic substances or those during the subsequent fermentation
Aroma-developing substances suffer no impairment, so attempts were also made to
sour fruit or. Vegetable juices containing the common, pure medicinal soap
to add basic compounds to the beneficial effects of the fruit juices
for basic or weakly alkaline pastes.
The result, however, was not satisfactory. Instead of the salary
Refreshing, pleasant taste present in essential oils through addition
to increase the fruit juices, the pastes had an unpleasant taste,
which increased during storage, so that these seemingly desirable in themselves
Additives for basic and soap-based, basic masses seemed to be excluded.
The invention is based on the knowledge that the aforementioned Cbelstand
is due to the fact that the acidic juices decompose the soaps and the fatty acids
free, which are known to have an unpleasant taste and smell.
