betrifft eine durch Druckwasser betriebene Kolbenpresse für Wäsche o. dgl. Bei Wäschepressen
ähnlicher Art muß der Druckkolben ebenso hoch gebaut werden, als der eigentliche
Preßraum für die Wäsche bemessen ist, damit die Abdichtungsmanschette des Kolbens
nicht in den Preßraum gelangt, weil diese sonst diesen Raum verschmutzen würde.
In diesem Falle baut man die Presse doppelt so hoch, als der Preßraum für die Wäsche
gewählt ist, weshalb sie teuer und umständlich ist. Bei vorliegender - Erfindung
wird der Innenraum des Kolbens zur Wäscheaufnahme benutzt. Um dies zu ermöglichen,
besitzt der Kolben keinen oberen Boden. Die Seitenwände des Kolbens bestehen aus
teleskopartig ineinanderschiebbaren Mänteln, die zu gleicher Zeit die Schutzwände
darstellen,- damit die eingelegte Wäsche nicht an die von der Manschette beschmutzte
Außenwand des Druckwasserbehälters kommt. Die Seitenwände des Kolbens schieben sich
während des Preßvorganges ineinander, wodurch der Endinhalt gegenüber dem Anfangsinhalt
klein -wird. Ein weiteres Erfindungsmerkmal besteht darin, daß der obere Mantel
mit seinem ausgebördelten Rand in einem durch den Preßzylinder und den auf ihm sitzenden
