undhoheÜberlastbarkeitgelegt, so verwendet man zweckmäßig Gleichstrom-Drehspul-Instrumente
Scale for direct and alternating current instruments that are inherently independent of
the type of current and frequency are, have a common for direct and alternating current
Scale, e.g. B. Hot wire and thermal instruments. The disadvantage of the same is with the hot wire instruments
the excessive own consumption, with thermal instruments the great sensitivity to
Overload. When measuring alternating current weight is now based on low self-consumption
and high overload capacity, direct current moving coil instruments are expediently used
in connection with dry rectifiers, the latter almost invariably in the
Graetzschen bridge arrangement are connected. In this way one obtains from certain current
or voltage limits upwards, which depend on the quality of the rectifier,
Instruments with a linear scale character, with deviations from linearity
are small compared to the errors caused by the nature of the dry rectifier.
To make AC and DC measurements with the same instrument
you can lead out the terminals of the moving coil instrument separately
and provides the same with a second scale for this current, as in this case
the sensitivity is considerably greater. The double calibration and manufacture
a second scale not only tax the manufacture of the instrument, but also
makes reading difficult and often gives rise to incorrect readings.
The present invention avoids this disadvantage by doing it
enables direct and alternating current to be read on the same scale. According to the
Invention is with the. Measurement with direct current the rectifier switched off and
its ohmic resistance through a series resistor and its internal resistance through
a shunt or other known means compensated for the sensitivity
is the same for both measurements. Since the internal 'resistance
is the same size, the present invention has the advantage that in the individual
Measuring ranges when measuring direct and alternating current, common series resistances
can be used. However, the change in sensitivity can still affect others
known manner can be achieved, e.g. B. by varying a magnetic shunt
to the magnet of the moving coil instrument o. The like. The use of the instrument for different
Types of current can be switched by means of a switch and a pair of connecting terminals or by means of separate
Terminal pairs happen. The figure shows a possible circuit of this type.
In der Figur sind a das gemeinsame Anschlußklemmenpaar, i das Anzeigeinstrument,
In the figure, a is the common pair of terminals, i is the display instrument,
z. B. a moving coil system, y "the compensation pre-switching resistor and y" the compensation shunt
for direct current measurement, s the changeover switch, g the rectifier and w1 to w3
the series resistors common to both types of current for the optional setting of one
certain measuring range.
gemeinsamen Skala. In addition to the series resistors on the AC side, there are also shunts
placed on the direct current side, one obtains with a corresponding modification of the
Switching elements an ammeter and voltmeter for direct and alternating current with a
common scale.
