Description

Method for producing a pore filling powder Pore filler pumice flour, earth colors, potato flour or similar powdery substances, useful suspended in varnishes, applied; the previous polishing process was through the multiple required work steps time-consuming. One can now use one and the same basic and dirt polish get by, which in a known manner from shellac solutions or nitrocellulose combinations exists if the pore filler is not inorganic or organic fillers used, including mixtures not containing the individual components side by side, but the pulverized melt mass produced according to the present invention, whose powder particles consist of an inorganic framework made of resin or waxy substances is surrounded like a shell. The polishing liquid to be used should the shell-like covering only partially and mainly only swelling to solve. As usual, this pore filling powder becomes liquid together with the polish feit rubbed into the pores of the wood with the help of a ball - the novelty this pore filling powder lies in its composition and method of manufacture conditional structure; the interior is made up of inorganic materials by a framework core formed as a result of the melt flow of resin-like and waxy masses is tightly encased. You already have powdery mixtures of insoluble besides soluble bodies, e.g. B. Resins in addition to insoluble packing, Rubbed into the pores together with alcohol, you already have glue-like bodies added to these mixtures. But it is obvious that the shell-like Build-up of the pore filling powder obtained according to the present process due to the effect a much better, more extensive one than if the individual parts were loosely next to each other come into use.

The fact that the solid, insoluble core with the swollen, outer, putty-like shell is pressed into the pores, 'creates a previously unknown Closure and filling of the pores. This caused by the shell-like structure Effect can be increased by adding oxidized oil, because this is able to shut off the mineral oil, which is often used for beauty.

Resin-like substances come into play in the present process Considered: shellac, sandarac, mastic, hardened rosin and the most diverse Synthetic resins, as waxy substances: Carnauba wax, Schella.ckwax.

The manufactured with the aid of the present process Basic polishes produced with pore filling powder are extraordinary fixed cohesive, hard and impermeable and safely prevent the for the beauty of the often used mineral oil.

Beispiel i o Teile Schellackwachs, 5 Teile Carnaubawachs, i oo Teile Bimsmehl, i oo Teile Sandarak, i o Teile geblasenes Rizinusöl werden unter Rühren zusammengeschmolzen und nach 'dem Erkalten fein pulverisiert.Example 10 parts shellac wax, 5 parts carnauba wax, 10 parts Pumice flour, 10 parts sandarak, 10 parts blown castor oil are stirred while stirring melted together and finely pulverized after cooling.
