Stoffen.Process for the production of a hydraulically setting coating composition
made of cement and bituminous slate The compound should be used as a protective coating
on any objects, e.g. B. made of wood, iron, metals and even glass and others
Fabrics.
z. B. Schutz bietet gegen säurehaltige Wässer und Dämpfe. It is well known that e.g. B. Concrete, which eventually too
represents a rock mass, on wood, iron o. dgi. applied without special
Action doesn't hold up well. Concrete cannot be used as a paint, either.
There are therefore many possibilities unsolved which the new paint, a
Rock flour mixture with water glass, fulfilled, which has other properties,
z. B. Provides protection against acidic water and vapors.
Form verwendet. The rock meal mixture according to the invention is made from
Bituminous slate ground into flour (Rhenish roof slate). This slate flour
dry cement is added and this mixture, which is known per se, is added to the following
Processed wisely In a kettle, about 5o% to 8o% of the total mass
Slate flour is heated to a certain temperature with constant stirring until
until the bituminous substances contained in the slate sweat out, d. H.
until a sweaty bituminous layer appears on the surface. This exudation
has nothing to do with smoldering, which is known per se. The exudation temperature
is different from the smoldering temperature and must be determined by trial runs
will; it is about 12o to 15o ° C. At the moment when the exudation occurs
the organic matter takes place, 20% to 50% cement is added to the mass.
The stirring must not be interrupted. The individual slate flour particles
now allow the cement particles to adhere immediately, and these bituminous ones
Parts are no longer able to have a damaging effect on the cement bond,
but they support the water glass liquid to be added later in their
Hardening property essential. The use of water glass with cement is on
known, but has nothing to do with the above process. Only in connection with the
above-described flour mixture, it is possible to achieve acid resistance, etc.
The water glass solution is added to the flour in a suitable form, depending on one
wants to have a paint, a potting compound or a direct lubricating compound.
This mass is applied to pipelines or wood or any other
Shape used.
Einwirkungen schwer Widerstand leisten.
It is understandable that most protective coatings are special

the external and internal influences, such as carbonic acid, sulphurous acid and especially
the electrochemical
