Abstract
The method involves capturing several successive images of a moving motor vehicle (16), on a preset route (3). The captured images are digitally processed to extract a fraction of improved 2D image with representation of number plate of the vehicle. The fraction of 2D image is selected to report, via a digital transmission channel, an offense noted in vehicle traffic condition on the preset route. An independent claim is also included for a moving vehicle speed identification device.
