The invention relates to a high-voltage post insulator, the cavity with a
pressurized gas is filled.
Arrangements are already known in which the overpressure in the cavity of the insulator
by special aids, for example by supplying compressed gas from the outside or through
Loading the cavity with evaporating substances must be secured. Next are too
Known isolators, in which the cavity under normal air pressure is present
the ends are closed with plastic insulating compounds.
The invention consists in the fact that the cavity of the insulator has a one-time filling
of a dry gas and also by means of a gas that is plastic at normal temperature
Insulating compound is sealed so well that the moderate overpressure in the cavity of the insulator
is maintained at all times despite only being filled with gas once. So that when the temperature changes
moisture does not separate from the gas on the inner walls of the insulator and cause internal flashovers
could give, the gas is dried before filling. It is true that isolators are also known
whose cavity standing under normal atmospheric pressure is dehumidified. Here, however, either a constantly with the
Isolator-related dryer or constant ventilation with heated or
dehumidified air, both means that are used in the operation of a high-voltage system
require special maintenance or auxiliary equipment.
In contrast, the insulator according to the invention is under all weather conditions
Can be used on its own without additional equipment, such as a dryer, and without maintenance.
At the same time it can be achieved by using the overpressure that despite the presence of ribs on the outside
the isolator, which must be provided with regard to outdoor use,
the internal flashover voltage is just as high as the external one.
Alsdann füllt man ebenfalls
wieder entleert. The drawing shows an embodiment of the invention. The ceramic insulating body α is smooth on the inside and provided with ribs on the outside. At the upper closed end it carries the cap h to which the line is attached. The cavity c. of the insulator is closed at the bottom by the socket d , which is united with the isothermal body α by a cement compound. The socket ä is provided with two tubes ß and f . One of these contains a check valve. First, dry gas is blown in through this nozzle. It is allowed to flow out again through the pipe f for a while until all moisture residues have been removed from the insulator. Then an insulating compound which is liquefied by heat and is plastic at normal temperature is filled in through the pipe e until it overflows on the pipe f. The tube f is then closed. The filler mass in the insulator is then allowed to rise so far that its surface is above the edge of the outer socket, taking into account the electrostatic field, and finally gas is allowed to flow in until an overpressure of about 0.2 atmospheres inside the cavity . is reached. The check valve prevents the cavity of the isolator from emptying again within the short time required to close the nozzle.
