Description

Process for the production of a radioactive substance which is effective against animal diseases Salt mixture from the Heidelberg thermal radium brine It is well known that brine from Mineral springs for the purpose of extracting the salts or salt mixtures it contains up to evaporate to dryness. Systematic experiments have now shown that you can get through Glas uses a combination process from the Heidelberg thermal radium brine extremely effective remedy against foot-and-mouth disease and against rot can get that in none of the numerous tests carried out up to y, et: tt has failed. The method consists in that the mixing ratio of the in the spring water existing salts in the end product is modified in a certain way so that in it the content of alkali chlorides is reduced to a small percentage, while the content of calcium chloride and radium is enriched. In the product are also by adding citric acid, the existing carbonic acid salts are converted into citric acid Salts transferred, whereupon the resulting solution, if necessary, to a salt content diluted from 5 to 10%.

je I 1 der Sole enthält im wesentlichen 7,5,-, Kaliumchlorid, 52,O g Natriumchlorid, I9, I g Calciumchlorid, 1,9 g Magnesiumchlorid, o,2 g Ammoniunichlorid sowie Hydroca.rbonate des Magnesiums, des Strontiums, Bariums, Eisens und Mangans. Each I 1 of the brine contains essentially 7.5, potassium chloride, 52.0 g sodium chloride, 19.1 g calcium chloride, 1.9 g magnesium chloride, 0.2 g ammonium chloride and hydrocarbonates of magnesium, strontium and barium , Iron and manganese.

The process of obtaining the desired salt mixture from it Brine is carried out in the following way: The brine is initially carried out in a known manner evaporated to dryness and then the salt mixture at about 8o ° with alcohol from about 69 to 95% washed out, with most of the table salt and potassium chloride remains unsolved. The alcoholic solution obtained becomes the alcohol for recovery, distill off and then add the remaining salts with water added and used to convert the carbonic acid salts into citric acid salts Citric acid are added. The solution is optionally further diluted, for example to a salt content of 5 to 1o%.
