Description

Method for Preventing Early Aging in Electrical Apparatus the oil The quality and service life of oil-filled electrical equipment, z. B. oil-filled cable, is essentially due to the nature of the in these Apparatus located oil determined. It has been shown that with the usual Oils used in electrical engineering already compare the quality of the oil to a proportionate extent decreases significantly over a short period of time, which then easily leads to breakdowns and flashovers in the Apparatus can arise. This deterioration in the oil is due to oxidation of the oil, which in turn leads to the formation of precipitates and silting up of the Oil leads. As is known, however, different ones used in electrical engineering work Metals, e.g. B. copper and lead, accelerating the oxidation of the surrounding area Oil. It has already been suggested to have this accelerating effect of the Metals can be eliminated by adding small amounts of phosphorus to the oil or that the metal parts with a phosphor coating interspersed with a binder be provided. But this has the disadvantage that the phosphorus to Part chemically combines with the oil, being resinous, 'the electrical properties deteriorating constituents of the oil arise in the oil. Furthermore, it has already been proposed Instead of leaded sheets, black sheets have been used and those in the oil To provide metal parts with a coating of tin or zinc. Besides that a special operation is necessary to produce such coatings even these measures are not very effective because the metallic coatings are also accelerating act on the oxidation of the oil, albeit to a lesser extent than copper and Lead.

According to the invention, the early aging of the electrical apparatus This prevents the oil from coming into contact with the oil Metals that cause accelerated aging of the oil, e.g. B. lead or Copper, substances such as phosphorus and arsenic, in such an amount as alloy components be added that the accelerating effect of these metals is canceled. The substances are added to the metals during manufacture, so that special operations in the manufacture of those that come into contact with the oil Metal parts are no longer necessary. Furthermore, the method according to the invention the advantage that additives cannot dissolve in the oil, so that the oil always remains in perfect condition.
