Description
With iron bands, however, the constructive training of the individual plays a role Belt joints play a special role in order to minimize the wear and tear on the belts to hold and to protect the transported coke. The protection of the coke is Especially in such coalfields, decisive for the choice of construction where a soft, easily friable coke is produced.
The box belts usually used for coke conveying are designed so that the individual hinge joints must have transverse walls to to prevent the coke from slipping off the rising part of the belt. But these are particularly annoying at the upper reversal point of the tape because of the above Cross iron a large height of fall for the coke is required. The slide has to be like this here start deep, on the one hand, a proper passage of the crossbars of the joints is guaranteed and on the other hand, the coke slipping off the joints is safe is caught. The resulting large height of fall makes one more sensitive Coke easily smashed, resulting in more small coke and a lot of unusable coke breeze result.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, box belts have been proposed which consist of individual boxes which are arranged on chain strands and are open at both ends. The floors are bent upwards according to the radius of the drive star and the upstanding side walls and floors are inserted into one another in such a way that an endless trough results. At the bypass point there is a completely circular tin drum without any elevation. The take-off chute for the coke being conveyed can therefore be brought up close to the belt joints, so that the great height of fall caused by the otherwise customary transverse walls is eliminated. The curved construction of the bottom plates results in a hump shape on the straight stretch, bi which the humps alternate with depressions at regular intervals. As a result, the above-mentioned crossbars for preventing the conveyed material from slipping off when the belts rise are superfluous. In the known construction, the individual boxes are firmly connected in their middle to the individual links of the chain strands via intermediate links. Special gripping devices are required to interlock the bottom ends of the boxes. It is also necessary that the rotating pin of the gripping device must always coincide with the pivot point of the chain links joined together. The production of such box strips, however, requires a very high level of accuracy and is consequently difficult in practice.
According to the invention, the stringing together of the open boxes To achieve a box belt is significantly easier if you attach the boxes to the chain strands movably arranged in such a way that the boxes are attached to the chain strands at one end pivotable by a certain amount in the plane perpendicular to the plane of the chain strands stores. The arrangement is to be made so that the boxes in their side walls are provided with round holes at one end; by the one connected to the chain Bolts are passed through which the boxes can rotate while they are on have elongated holes at the other end, in which a bolt to limit the pivoting movement of the boxes engages. The length of the curved floor panels is determined by the box belt according to Frfindtin.- chosen so that the sheets overlap in a straight line, at the bypass point, however, the following sheet is always the extension of the previous one forms without creating any greater leeway.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing in Fig. i in part of a conveyor belt and in Fig. - in a section through a belt joint shown. The conveyor belt consists of individual links or troughs, their side walls i with the one bent upwards. Bathing 2 @ connected by welding, riveting or the like are. The troughs are attached to the with the help of screws or in any other suitable manner Conveyor chain 3 hinged, namely the boxes are at one end on two opposite screws d. easily rotated while being on top of the other Slide side in longitudinal holes 5. The wheels are attached to the chain in a known manner 6, which run on guide rails 7, attached. At the chain star 8 is formed by the shape of the bottom and due to the bevel of the overlapping bottom plates, an uninterrupted circular arc to which the slide 9 for receiving the promoted Coke is brought in such a way that the coke coming out of the box is direct slides down without any height of fall.
The screening and loading station close to the chute in a familiar manner Way on.
