Abstract

Web offset printing machine is controlled by a system in which several computer units are provided, each having a non-volatile memory unit, with a common time signal supplied to each from a central timer unit. When there is activity in one of the computer units, information recording the activity can be stored in the associated non-volatile memory simultaneously with the time information, corresponding to the time signal output by the timer unit at the instant of activity.
