KLASSE 12 q GRUPPE 22CLASS 12 q GROUP 22
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 20. Mai 1932 abPatented in the German Empire on May 20, 1932
The primary organic derivatives of trivalent antimony of the general formula R — Sb O · η aq are described as being relatively unstable. They tend to turn into compounds (R 2 Sb) 2 O etc. with partial elimination of the antimony.
This conversion is carried out, e.g. B. in Annalen 421 [1920], pages 215, 216 and 220, as well as in Annalen 429 [1922], page 131 is favored by tartaric acid, lactic acid, malic acid, i.e. aliphatic complex-forming oxy acids.
It has now been found that, with careful work, it is possible to use catechol derivatives, which carry one or more acidic salt-forming substituents, such as the carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid and arsic acid group, To produce complex salts of such organic stibine oxides without cleavage of inorganic antimony oxide (red precipitation with hydrogen sulfide) takes place.
During the preparation one can proceed in such a way that one dissolves the organic stibine oxides with the complexing agents mentioned with the assistance of basic substances for the preparation of the neutral solution or that one the acid derivatives of the organic stibine oxides, like R — SbCl 2 , simultaneously with the complexing agent with as much one · The basic substance is treated as is necessary for the production of neutral solutions, and the complex salts formed are then separated using suitable precipitating liquids. Alkalis, alkaline earths such as calcium and magnesium hydroxide, or nitrogen bases can be used as basic substances. You can z. B. 2, 3, 4 and more moles of the complexing agent to 1 mole of organic stibine oxide to act, but ratios deviating from s'toichiometric numbers can also be used in order to obtain a neutral-soluble complex salt.
Mittels der als Komplexbildner ebenfalls bekannten Brenzcatechinderivate der genannten Art kann man aber zu ausreichend beständigen Kornplexverbindungen von solchen dreiwertigen Antimonderivaten gelangen, bei denen Anti-Process for the production of complex compounds from antimony oxide and catechol derivatives, which carry acidic, salt-forming substituents, with the help of basic substances, are already known. In the however, primary organic stibine oxides used in the present process are bound to carbon with antimony. The decomposability of such compounds is, as already mentioned above, by the favored for complex formation suitable aliphatic oxycarboxylic acids. Using the as Complexing agents, also known catechol derivatives of the type mentioned, can be used to form sufficiently stable complex compounds of such trivalent antimony derivatives, in which anti-

Die neuen Komplexsalze lösen sich mit neutraler Reaktion in Wasser und bieten somit die Möglichkeit, die primären organischen Stibinoxyde mit ihrer eigenartigen, gegenüber den fünfwertigen organischenmon is bonded to carbon with one valence, so that only two main valences of the antimony are available for binding to the complexing agent. The new complex salts dissolve with it neutral reaction in water and thus offer the possibility of the primary organic Stibine oxides with their peculiar compared to the pentavalent organic ones
They are often characterized by a high therapeutic index.
The products have also been used as intermediates for the preparation of remedies Meaning where it is a question of the stibine oxides in a water-soluble resp. to bring neutral water-soluble form to implementation.
A solution or suspension of 6> 5 E p-acetylaminophenylstibine chloride in methyl alcohol is stirred into a solution of 14 g of sodium catechol disulphonic acid cooled by pieces of ice. At the same time, 2-n-diethylaminoethanol solution is added until the reaction is neutral or almost neutral. It is filtered and the complex salt formed is precipitated by stirring into alcohol. After separation and drying in a desiccator, an almost colorless powder is obtained which easily dissolves in water with a neutral reaction.
The acidified solution gives the organic antimony compounds with hydrogen sulfide peculiar light yellow precipitate. Analysis shows that on 1 atom Antimony 1 atom of nitrogen is present, so the type R-SbO in the conversion has been preserved.
If you use lime milk to neutralize, you also get a neutral soluble, but complex salt containing calcium.
In ähnlicher Weise kann man z. B. mit Magnesiumhydroxyd neutralisieren. In a similar way you can z. B. neutralize with magnesium hydroxide.
In analoger Weise erhält man neutrale Komplexsalze z. In an analogous manner, neutral complex salts are obtained, for. B. using m - chloro-ρ - acetylaminopheny.lstibinchlorürhydrochloric or of m-p-benzimidazole stibine chloro hydrochloride. On the other hand - can z. B. also catechol monosulfonic acid sodium, pyrogallol disulfonic acid sodium or the corresponding potassium salts, also gallic acid, catechol carboxylic acid, Find catechinaric acid use.

6g Hi-Amino-.p-carbamido-phenylstibinchlorur-hydrochloride are added in a methyl alcoholic suspension to a solution of 10 g of catechol disulfonic acid sodium trium with the simultaneous addition of dilute sodium hydroxide solution until a neutral reaction is obtained. It is filtered, diluted with methyl alcohol and the complex salt formed is precipitated by stirring in ethyl alcohol. After separation and drying in a desiccator, the sodium m-amino-p-carbamidophenylstibine oxide pyrocatechol disulfonic acid is obtained as an almost colorless powder which easily dissolves in water with a neutral reaction. The aqueous solution is not precipitated by dilute hydrochloric acid. The hydrochloric acid solution gives a light yellow precipitate with hydrogen sulfide.
If you use 15g in the above example catechol disulphonic acid sodium, a complex salt with analogous properties is obtained, but lower antimony content.

The solution of 14 g of sodium catechol disulphonic acid is stirred with the addition of a little methyl alcohol and dilute sodium hydroxide solution added until the reaction is almost neutral. The solution obtained is filtered and stir the filtrate into alcohol. After separation and drying in vacuo, a pale colored powder is obtained which easily dissolves in water with a neutral reaction. The acidified with dilute hydrochloric acid The solution is clouded light yellow by hydrogen sulfide.
In a similar way, e.g. a complex salt of p-ethylamino or p- (ethyl acetylamino) -phenylstibinoxyds or from oxyalkylaminophenylstibinoxyds.
The solution with a solution of 8 g calcium catechol disulfonic acid calcium sodium (Patent 549 207) combined. Add 2N milk of lime until the reaction is neutral added, filtered and precipitated by stirring in alcohol. After detaching and Drying in vacuo gives the complex salt formed as a pale colored Powder that easily dissolves in water with a neutral reaction.
