Abstract

An under-voltage release whose electromagnetic trip or release device (1) reacts with an armature (2) on an unlatching device (3) during an under-voltage events, in which the armature is applied by means of a manual-control element (4) and a holding lever (5) during switching on of the release device magnetic system. The holding lever is controlled by a crank (7) coupled to the manual-control element until location of the armature on the magnet system, thus adjoining a release or trip zone kinematically on to the crank, with the pawl (9) of the latch release device shaped and positioned in such a way in relation to the aux. switch (6) that a reaction point (10) for actuating the aux. switch is formed and at least one contact path of the aux. switch is closed in the switch-on position of the under-voltage release. The pawl (9) functions together with an energy storage device (26) and is arranged such that the reaction point (10) exerts a comparatively large force on the aux. switch (6) at switch-on.
