Abstract

The circuit-breaker comprises a molded case (1) containing a movable contact (2,3) and a fixed contact (8). The movable contact is connected to an operating lever (4) controlled by a trip lever (5) and operatively associated to an operating knob (7). An auxiliary lever (30) is engageable with the movable contact to hold it at a predetermined distance from the fixed contact during closing operations. The auxiliary lever is operatively coupled with the operating knob to release the movable contact allowing completion of the closing operation.
