Abstract

A lower, horizontal part of the rigid frame (1) has one or more inward and downward sloping holes (2) which take screws (3) with nuts accessible from the frame exterior (4) periphery for screwing the rain-rail (5) to the bottom horizontal part of the frame. The holes penetrate several wood-plies of the frame. The opening of the hole on the underside (6) of the horizontal bottom part (7) widens out (8) for the nut. When the window is closed, the rain rail rests against the lower edge of the movable window frame (9) and forms a smooth outer surface.
