Abstract

The invention relates to a chimney cowl for rear-ventilated multi-layered domestic chimneys which have, in their longitudinal direction, at least one flue gas pipe (2) and at least one rear-ventilating duct (16), with an upper cover plate (10) for the chimney, which has at least one opening (12), through which a flue gas pipe (2) projects upwards and which forms, with the outer circumferential surface of the flue gas pipe, a passage opening (18) for the rear-ventilating gas.
