Werden diese neuen Metallverbindungen auf der Faser erzeugt, so entstehen durch Eisenoxydul-Salze grüne, durch Nickel-Salze braune, durch Kobalt-Salze rothbraune Färbungen von grofser Beständigkeit gegen Licht, Luft und Walke.
