Process for the production of phthalocyanine dyes on textiles
It has been found that phthalocyanine dyes can be used on textiles, such as fibers, threads
or fabrics made from cotton, silk, regenerated cellulose, acetate rayon, polyamides
or urethanes or polyacrylonitrile, if you use mixtures of o-dinitriles,
Oxides or sulfides of the metals of the first and second main group of the periodic
Systems with ammonia or amines and suitable solvents or diluents,
expediently with the help of a thickener on textiles, then these
heated to about 100 to 140 "and the dyeings or prints obtained with water
or highly diluted acids.
For the method are such. B. Sodium Sulphide and Potassium Sulphide,
also barium oxide, calcium oxide and magnesium oxide and the corresponding sulfides.
Suitable solvents or diluents are, in particular, Form.arnd and dimethylformamide
or pyridine, that is to say water-soluble solvents or diluents; but are also
other solvents can be used.
nutzbar machen. In order to apply the implementation participants to the textiles in an adhesive manner,
The reaction mixture is expediently thickened with those customary in printing technology
Thickeners, for which methyl cellulose, for example, is suitable. The so on
The textiles applied to the implementation participants are now by heating the textiles
converted to about 100 to 1q.0 ° in the metal phthalocyanines, whereby blue to
gray dyeings or prints with excellent light, washing and rubbing fastness are produced.
The textiles dyed or printed in this way are expediently treated with water or
strongly diluted acids, whereby
the clarity of the colors
and their properties are still to be improved. In the case of using the oxides
or sulfides of the metals of z. and 2nd main group of the periodic system arise
apparently first of all the corresponding metal phthalocyanines, the metal of which easily penetrates
an acid treatment is leached out. The metal leaching can also be achieved by treatment
with organic solvents such as methanol or ethanol.
By post-treating the colorations produced with alkali or alkaline earth phthalocyanines
with heavy metal salts, e.g. B. copper sulfate, are the stable heavy metal phthalocyanines
obtain. The implementation participants can also be padded onto fabric or strands
and then develop the dyes and so the process for piece and rope dyeing
make useful.

15 Teilen Natriumsulfid (Na2 S - 9 H20), 15 Teilen Fo@rmamid, 5 Teiilen Piperidin

A Beis.pie1 Baur Wolli tissue is a by mixing 2o parts of phthalonitrile, 15 parts of sodium sulfide - printed, 1 5 parts Fo @ rmamid, 5 Teiilen piperidine and 5 parts of methyl cellulose prepared printing paste (Na2 S 9 H20). The printed fabric is dried and heated to zzo ° for 50 minutes. The fabric is then passed through boiling water acidified with acetic acid and, after drying, a blue-gray, rub-fast print is obtained. Treatment with hot methanol turns the color of the print into a clear blue with excellent light, rub and wash fastness.

one obtains, evidently with the formation of copper phth, alo.cyanine, a family deepening
of pressure.
