Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 7. August 1931 abPatented in the German Empire on August 7, 1931
The invention aims to seal off the intermediate gaps from drafts, dust and water and joints in vehicle doors and windows, especially in convertible and all-weather vehicles. As is well known, these places occur when driving due to the almost uninterrupted Vibrations Vibratory movements between the guide and frame parts connected to the vehicle frame for the doors and windows, both across the direction of travel and also in the direction of travel itself and thirdly in the height direction .. This requires a constant friction between the surfaces and edges to be sealed and even temporary lifting which are mostly covered with elastic sealing strips (velvet, rubber, etc.) Sealing surfaces and edges, so that not only rainwater, but also drafts and Dust can enter the interior of the car even when all doors and windows are locked.
Die Erfindung bezieht sich nun auf eine Dichtungsleiste aus drei voneinander abhängigen und zusammenwirkenden Streifen ausThe invention now relates to a sealing strip from three interdependent and cooperating strips
This material can be smooth as well as covered with plush or velvet or vulcanized. The inventive is there in that of the three strips, one is the fastening strip, while the two other legs movably connected to the fixed strip form the sealing strips. The second arm will be at Attachment to the movable door or window part at the moment of completion pivoted a certain angle with respect to the fixed strip and rotates here in the case of the third profile strip on its axis of rotation in the sense of pivoting in such a way, that this on another edge or "surface of the movable door or window part when the door or window is closed. These two movable profile strips then lie under pressure on two edges or surfaces, which are usually at right angles to one another, and thus guarantee a secure closure, independent of door and window vibrations.

Fig. 8 eine Abdichtung von zwei Fensterführungsschienen mit gemeinsamem Scharnierpunkt, 8 shows a seal for two window guide rails with a common hinge point,
Fig. 9 eine Abdichtung von gegengeklappten Scheiben, ebenfalls mit gemeinsamem Scharnierpunkt.9 shows a seal of counter-folded panes, also with a common Hinge point.
It denotes α the fixed profile leg, b the leg initially set from the movable to the sealing means (door or window) and d the third profile leg of the sealing profile which is entrained by this setting and thereby also seals on a different surface or edge; this designation of the three legs is provided consistently in all embodiments, namely in the marked hatched position at the end position of the parts to be sealed, in the dotted position, however, after opening the same (by rotation about a hinge or longitudinal displacement). According to Fig. 1, the fixed leg a is attached to a door frame f , while the leg b rests on the inner surface of the door or window frame g after it has been transferred from the dotted position by the movement of g in the direction of the arrow to the position shown became. Here, the leg b takes the third profile leg d with it from the open position shown in dotted lines into the marked contact position, also in the sense of the arrow drawn.
The same applies to the leg α fixed in h according to FIG. 2, which however shows an even greater possibility of movement having the main leg b for the purpose of stronger pressure on the pivoted or pushed disk i according to one of the two directional arrows drawn on disk i.
As can be seen, in both embodiments a constant snuggling and grasping of the two movable legs is ensured in such a way that they take part in every oscillating movement of the movable part g or i as well as constant sealing when they are pushed apart, i.e. enlargement of the space between / and g in Fig J, between h and i in FIG. The latter shows an embodiment of the profile, in particular for use between the roof bars and the door window i, which can both be pivoted with the door (outer arrow) and adjustable in the height direction (arrow drawn in i ), the kink in the profile leg b being soft, flexible The counter-support provides protection against breakage despite the seal when the pane is movable.
Die zusammen beweglichen Schenkel b und d liegen dagegen am weggerundeten Pfosten I an.Fig. 3 also shows the fixed profile leg α in the body part k. The jointly movable legs b and d , however, rest on the post I, which is rounded away.
In Fig. 4, the application of the profile for floor overlap is shown by slamming the door part carrying the fixed profile part g, the profile leg b coming into contact with the baseboard, then rotates the upper profile leg d downward in the sense of the arrows drawn and so against Draft air protects.
The application of the profile to non-stop window frames and window rails with closing rebates is shown in FIG. 5. The fixed profile leg α is provided on the body part m , and profile leg d engages in the closing rebates.
Fig. 6 shows the design of the profile with gap seal by displacement, in that the legs b and d are brought from the dotted position into the fully drawn, under buckling according to the arrow drawn when the fixed profile leg a bearing window frame η struck against the fixed body part p will. This knee formation when closing the frame window is also supported by the opening of the door by the relaxation of the compression and blockage accumulation in contrast to known profiles, which swiveled against this with their retracted sealing legs and led to window breakage.
According to Fig. 7, the final position between the disks q is not yet reached. The movement as indicated by the arrows has not yet been completed, «This profile is intended in particular for sliding windows that can be moved next to each other.
Fig. 8 creates an absolute seal between two window guide rails (window runners r, s) with pane frames η , brought together by a common hinge point, in that the inner profile legs b are pressed against each other and the outer profile legs d come into contact with the window guide rails y, s . Similarly, FIG. 9 shows a profile design for sealing joints between folded panes, v. The double profile is attached to the sliding windows and is compressed when the windows are pushed together.
