Description
Elektrischer Schicht- oder Wickelkondensator mit einem Dielektrikum, das ganz oder teilweise aus Halogenabkömmlingen von aromatischen oder hydroaromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen besteht und einen Zusatz solcher Stoffe enthält, die geeignet sind, ihm eine mehr oder weniger homogene Struktur zu verleihen Es ist bekannt, als alleiniges oder Zusatzdielektrikum für Schicht- und Wickelkondensatoren Abkömmlinge aromatischer Kohlenwasserstoffe, z. B. des Naphthalins, zu gebrauchen, die einen mehr oder weniger großen Gehalt an Halogenen aufweisen, wie Tetrachlornaphthalin oder Octochlorhaphthalin. Diese halogenisierten aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffe besitzen gegenüber den sonst üblichen dielektrischen Stoffen, die aus praktisch reinen Kohlenwasserstoffen, wie Mineralölen, Paraffinen u. dgl., bestehen, den Vorteil, daß ihre Dielektrizitätskonstante einen wesentlich höheren Wert besitzt. Man kann also bei Verwendung dieser Stoffe als Dielektrikum oder als Zusatzdielektrikum zu Faserstoffen, wie Papier o. dgl., die geschichtet oder gewickelt werden, bei gleichen räumlichen Abmessungen höhere Kapazitätswerte erzielen als bei Verwendung der sonst üblichen Kohlenwasserstoffe. Erfindungsgemäß sind daher bei derartigen, elektrischen Kondensatoren als Zusatzstoffe Kohlenwasserstofföle bzw. -fette verwendet. Dabei wird die höhere Dielektrizitätskonstante der halogenhaltigen Substanz praktisch kaum verändert; denn es genügt bereits ein ganz geringer Zusatz der Ö1- oder Fettstoffe, um den gewünschten Erfolg zu erzielen; indem sich eine Art fester Lösung von amorpher Struktur bildet. Die Durchschlagsfestigkeit der mit dem Dielektrikum gemäß der Erfindung hergestellten Kondensatoren liegt wegen seiner homogenen Struktur wesentlich höher als diejenige des halogenhaltigen Dielektrikums ohne den Zusatz, und die dielektrischen Verluste sind beträchtlich geringer. Man hat zwar bereits vorgeschlagen, dem aus Halogenabkömmlingen aromatischer oder hydroaromatischer Kohlenwasserstoffe bestehenden bielekfrikum von Schicht- oder Wickelkondensatoren Harze oder Gummiharze zuzusetzen, um die kristallinische Struktur des Dielektrikums herabzusetzen. Die Verwendung dieser Zusatzstoffe ist aber insofern nachteilig, als sie bekanntlich entweder die Eigenschaften von Estern. oder diejenigen von Säuren, evtl. auch von Alkoholen besitzen. Alle diese Arten von Stoffen aber neigen zu Ionisation und größerer Stromdurchlässigkeit und bedingen daher, wenn sie den halogenisierten aromätischen oder hydröaromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen zugesetzt werden, unerwünschte Beeinträchtigungen der Eigenschaften des Dieiektrikums. Diese Nachteile werden vermieden, wenn gemäß der Erfindung als Zusatzstoffe Kohlenwasserstofföle bzw. -fette angewandt werden, d. h.
