Beanspruchungen beim Aufnageln des Oberleders oder Absatzes zu widerstehen. Man
hat aus diesem Grunde die Metalleisten mehrteilig ausgeführt, indem man die Leichtmetalleisten
an den beanspruchten Stellen mit besonderen angeschraubten oder sonstwie befestigten
harten Eisen- oder Metallplatten versah. Diese Mehrteiligkeit hat aber eine umständliche
Herstellung der Leichtmetalleisten zur Folge, die den erwähnten Vorteil wieder aufwiegt,

darauf an, den ganz oder teilweise eisenbeschlagenen Holzleisten durch einen @einheitlichen
Metalleisten zu ersetzen, der neben seiner Leichtigkeit an den Nagelungsstellen
