Nach Scheidung der Schnitzel vom Wasser durch die Schnitzelpressen gelangen bei der Undichtigkeit der letzteren wieder Schnitzel mit in das abfliefsende Wasser. Um dies zu verhindern, dient der in der Zeichnung dargestellte continuirlich arbeitende Schnitzelfä'nger. Das Schnitzel enthaltende Wasser .gelangt durch einen Trichter α in eine unmittelbar unter ihm angebrachte drehbare Siebtrommel b und wird aus ihr durch eine Blechrinne c in die Abflufsleitung geführt. Die Schnitzel hingegen bleiben auf der gewebten Fläche der Siebtrommel liegen und fallen schliefslich in den Schriitzelelevator, um wieder der Schnitzelpresse zugeführt zu werden. Sollten jedoch einige Schnitzel auf dem Umfang' der Siebtrommel festkleben, so werden sie durch eine Bürste d entfernt oder durch eine Wasserbrause abgespült.After the pulp has been separated from the water by the pulp presses, if the latter leaks, pulp will again enter the draining water.
