Bei den bisherigen Schnitzelpressen durchlaufen die Schnitzel die Presse von oben nach unten, während das abgeprefste Wasser naturgemä'fs. denselben Weg nimmt. Es hat dies den Nachtheil im Gefolge, dafs die einem schwankenden Drucke ausgesetzten Schnitzel in den entlasteten Partieen das an anderer Stelle abgeprefste Wasser begierig wieder aufsaugen, was namentlich an der Stelle, an welcher die Schnitzel die Presse verlassen, infolge des plötzlich aufhörenden Druckes stark auftritt, so dafs die Schnitzel nicht so weit abgeprefst werden, wie es im Interesse der Fabrikation und der Consumenten liegt. Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet nun die Anwendung des für mit Prefsschnecke arbeitende Maischeentschaler bekannten Gegenstromprincips auf Rübenschnitzelpressen, sowie eine hierzu geeignete Construction. , Dieselbe beseitigt den geschilderten Mangel in jeder Hinsicht.In the previous chip presses, the chips run through the press from above below, while the squeezed water naturally. takes the same route.
