Description
Kühlflüssigkeit für aus Magnesiumlegierungen bestehende Teile von Brennkraftmaschinen In neuerer Zeit ist vielfach und mit gutem Erfolge empfohlen worden, dem als Kühlmittel für Brennkraftmaschinen verwendeten Wasser zwecks Erhöhung der Kühlwirkung und Verminderung der Einfriergefahr in der kalten Jahreszeit entweder mehrwertige Alkohole, wie z. B. Glykol und Glycerin, zuzu-#,etzen oder aber diese Stoffe selbst überhaupt als Kühlmittel zu verwenden. Dabei hat sich bezeigt, daß bei Verwendung von Magnesium und seinen Legierungen als Baustoff für die von der Flüssigkeit durchflossenen Teile das .Metall von mehrwertigen Alkoholen teils schon bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur, regelmäßig aber bei den in den Motoren (z.
