Der Schlitz h ist so angebracht, dafs in der Ruhelage (Fig. 7) das untere Ende der Büchse / etwas über die Grundfläche α hervorsteht. Die Büchse/ dient zum Vorzeichnen des Stickmusters und wird zu diesem Zwecke mit Druckerschwärze gefüllt. Dieselbe tritt durch am Boden g befindliche Oeffnungen ο aus, welche, wenn es sich um die am häufigsten vorkommende Vorzeichnung eines im Sternmittel befindlichen Kreises handelt, einen Kreisring r zwischen dem in diesem Falle nach einwärts springenden Boden und dem Mantel der Büchse / bilden. Soll jedoch eine andere Figur, z.
