Description
Copier with constant exposure time and constant built-in Comparative light source The invention relates to a photographic copier with built-in light source for copying photographic recordings, in particular Single film images, and a photometric device connected to this apparatus to set the correct exposure level.
Such apparatus are known to be set up so that by means of a Photometry the total density of a transilluminated negative by comparison Measured with a constant comparative light or compared to an illuminated one Comparative negative is estimated and according to this estimate or the measured Values the intensity of the copying light is regulated. The regulation of the exposure intensity according to the total density of the negative, however, is afflicted with a fundamental error. Because there are z. B. two negatives, under the same conditions of the same Object are recorded, with one, for example, 8o% bright clouds and 2o% contains dark foreground and the other, just by changing the section, 8o% foreground, differently exposed, while the same exposure is correct were. In contrast, it is theoretically more correct to set the exposure intensity according to the image detail, which corresponds to the mean density value of the gradation curve is equivalent to. This density value can be practically determined by determining the minimum and the maximum of the density, and the easiest way to do this is to determine this both values added. Some of the known apparatus also let the investigation individual density values, but they are for the adjustment of the copy light intensity not appropriately set up for the medium degree of blackening. For it in these apparatuses is only a compound that can be regulated in its entirety Copy light available, which is either through switching regulation of several lamps or throttling by a single resistance or displacement by a single Light source changed in its intensity compared to a light-scattering disc will. This has the disadvantage that after setting the copy light on the minimum of blackening of the setting value must be read to turn then to change the copy light and now to regulate it to the maximum and the read the corresponding value, after which then again the light source accordingly the determined values must be adjusted to the average degree of blackening.
This disadvantage is eliminated according to the invention in that a copying device is provided, which allows the average density of the gradation of a negative subjectively to be determined for the copying process by using a luminous effect that can be regulated Combined light source to adjust the intensity to the minimum of the gradation and another such light source is used for the maximum of the gradation, so the two Light sources in this setting also for the Can be used for copying.
The subject matter of the invention particularly comprises a copier with two movable light sources to determine the greatest density and largest Transparency of a negative to get the mean value for the copy, whereby the light sources can be shifted directly each separately and installed in the copier body in such a way that no light is emitted outside can fall. The displaceable light sources become a constant one after the other Adjusted comparative light and combined to expose the image to be copied switched on.
Means are also provided for the electrical circuit to make the light sources for the designated measuring process inevitably so Avoid incorrect actions and incorrect exposures.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown, namely Fig. 1 is a side view of the laterally opened copier and Fig. 2 is a front view of the copier with laterally moved upper comparison light housing. In Fig. I, the housing of the apparatus is denoted by i. In the housing there are two light sources 2 which can be displaced in columns 17, 2 [deg.] And which are displaced and held in any position by buttons 16, 23 with spring clips underneath. A switch i S is used to switch on the light sources. On the housing i there is a larger small lamp housing 3 with a photometer comparison light source [. Towards the front, this housing is closed off by a mirror 19, 2o which is arranged at an angle and separated by a gap 26. A bolt 5 connects the two housings 1, 3 and enables the upper housing to be turned laterally with respect to the lower one. With this lateral rotation, one of the two light sources 2 is inevitably switched on or off by means of a contact i 5. The lower housing is open at the top for the exposure of the film image to be copied or the film strip 12 and is only closed off by transparent, matt panes S, 9. A plate ii firmly connected to the upper housing and having a recess above the negative io enables the film strip 12 to be covered before exposure. A film housing 6 is firmly connected to the lower housing by means of a hinge 7. The film housing 6 has two film reels, each with a knurled knob 21, 22. To move the film strip 12 wound onto the film reel, claws 13 - a device consisting of a pin and a spring 25, blocks the further transport of the film strip by the The pin engages in a corresponding bore in the film spool 13. The working process of the described and drawn copier is as follows: The negative io is pushed over disk 9. The film is advanced by one frame length by turning the knob 22, the pin i q. engages in the hole of the roller 13 and the film housing 6 lowers so far that the lamp housing 3 with plate ii can now be moved over the film housing and the negative by turning. Simultaneously with the engagement of the lamp housing 3, one of the lamps 2 is turned on by switches necessarily 1. 5 The negative image appearing in the mirror 19 and 20 is observed and the slit 26 is brought to coincide with the brightest point of the image. Then one moves a -the lamps 2 by means of the button 1 6 or of the knob 23 so long, of the image appear bright to gap 26 and brightest point equal.
The first lamp is switched off by actuating the switch i S and the second lamp switched on. Then in the same way becomes the darkest Position the negative image by moving the second lamp to the same brightness with the comparison lamp ¢ appearing through gap 26.
The lamp housing 3 is rotated sideways, the switch .1 5 inevitably turns off the lamp 2 and the circuit is passed through a contact copying watch, not shown. The film housing is folded over the negative and the two copying lamps are lit by switching on the contact copying clock. The film housing is then folded away again and the process described above can be repeated.
