To keep the fresh, slightly damp cigarettes on the after they have been made

According to the invention, this disadvantage is to be avoided in that by the
Sloping, in the longitudinal direction of the upright arranged cigarettes, a dry air stream
is passed through.

liegt.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows a plan view of the cigarette ends when they are horizontal
Storage, Fig. 2 when the cigarettes are arranged in a vertical position in the trays,
while Fig. 3 shows an apparatus for carrying out the method. In the cabinet-type drying device shown in Fig. 3 there are a number of trays
i, 2 arranged, in which the cigarettes are in a standing position. These
Trays have a perforated bottom (e.g. a strong mesh in the form of a mesh),
so that the air can pass through in the longitudinal direction of the cigarettes. The suction of the
Air is done with the help of the pipe 9. In the case of higher cabinets, the air intake pipe is
9 subdivided in such a way that for all boxes 1 and 2 a uniform suction speed,
if necessary with the help of the regulating flap 7 is achieved. The air inlets
4 are variable in size by adjustable slide 8. You will be at the device shown

sucked up at the top.
