an. Device on buckle folding machines for unequal parallel folds
Sheet With parallel folding machines in which the sheets are folded in unequal parts
occurs, especially those in a zigzag or spiral fold, spreads slightly
the short end of the sheet as it enters the next folding rollers and hits the latter
at. This results in a re-fold which severely affects the quality of the folding work.
In such buckle folding machines the bag formation takes place, the
leads to the fold, e.g. B. by running the sheet against an adjustable stop
while continuously rubbing the other end of the bow. There are already bow deflectors for this purpose
known, which force the arch to make the deflection to a certain side.
These distractors have already been moved in time, but always have the purpose
had to bring about the correct pre-bending of the arch at the later break point.
The purpose of the present invention, on the other hand, is safe guidance
of the overhead, already pre-folded narrow sheet parts, which are in the by the folding rollers
formed gap must be pressed and not allowed to hit, because through
the resulting re-fold would make the work unusable. According to the invention
for buckle folding machines for sheets that are to be folded unequally parallel in the vicinity of the
Pocket opening a movably arranged additional deflector or the like.
that when the folded edge of the unevenly pre-folded sheet enters the pocket
in the retracted position does not prevent the entry of this arc, but it does so when it leaves
of the sheet gripped by the folding rollers in the new fold; in such a position
is moved so that he has the overlying narrow sheet flap of the pre-folded sheet
into the gap formed by the folding rollers.
A folding work according to FIG. 5 is selected as an exemplary embodiment, at
which with three breaks the arch is divided into four parts so that its outer edges
collide in the middle. The means to eliminate this re-fold are
special guides in the pockets that are controlled so that they are in their one
End position allow the sheet to run into the buckle pockets, and in their
other end position force the upward spreading end, the circular path around the
Follow folding rollers.
The device can be built into any pocket, as the case may be
the type of fold of the sheet requires this.
In Fig. = A general view of a folding machine from the side or in section is shown, namely the effective guides z4., 15 are here in their retracted end positions in contrast to Fig. 2, which is a part of Fig. z, namely as a section after AA, in which these guides 14, 15 are in their other effective end position, so that they press down the upwardly striving paper ends and guide them into the rollers; Fig. 3 shows the plan of Fig. Z; FIG. 4 is the plan view of FIG. 2, and FIG. 5 is the folding scheme on which the exemplary embodiment is based; Figures 6 and 7 show details. On the table 1 lies the stack 2, of which the top sheet is conveyed in a known manner into the rollers 3, 4 and into the pocket 5 (position I, FIG. 6), where it runs up against the stop 6. It then forms a bag, is grasped by the rollers 4, 7 and passed into the pocket 8 at the stop g (FIGS. Z and 7) (position II). The re-forming bag is guided by the rollers 7, io into the pocket iz to the stop 12 (position II, FIG. 7) and finally pressed into the rollers io, 13 in order to reach the tray 33. This is schematically the process known per se. To now the upstanding sheet ends x, y (Fig. 6, 7), which have the tendency to abut the roller 7 as it continues, at the same time with the middle part of the paper sheet in the To force rollers 7, io and 13, io, special tongues 14, 15 (Fig. 2) are provided in the two pockets 8 and ii, which can be moved back and forth and at the same time by running onto cams 16, 17 - possibly with the help of rollers - lower yourself and raise yourself. When the sheets come in, these tongues are as shown in FIG. They are withdrawn and stand tall so that the paper in both pockets 8 and ii can pass underneath. Of course it doesn't have to be at the same time. The movements can be completely independent of each other. At the moment when the arc started at g in FIG. 6, the tongue 14 is also in the position shown in FIG. 2 and presses the trailing end x (FIG. 6) into the rollers 7, io, if the whole Arch is guided into the pocket 1i. In this pocket at this moment the tongue i5 (Fig. I) is also at the back and is raised so that the bow part with the end y (Fig. 7) can pass underneath. The tongue x5 then immediately goes to the left in the position according to Fig. 2. In contrast to the tongue 14, which is advantageously slightly curved in its length, the tongue 15 also has a shape adapted to the roller circumference, so that both the end of the sheet y is pressed down and guided into the rollers io, 13 and that out of the Walzens7, 1o coming end x in the same rollers io, 13 can slide (position III, Fig. 7). Because the bump is avoided, the re-fold that occurs earlier cannot arise.
richtigen Augenblick den Bogen 2 in die Zuführwalzen 3, 4.In the drawing, the drive for the tongues is done by separately seated eccentrics 18, ig, which can advantageously be mutually adjustable in order to be able to set the correct moment of forward movement of the tongues when changing formats. The latter sit on a transverse bar 2o, 21, which goes in guides 22, 23 (FIGS. 3 and 4) and on which the springs 24, 25 press. They lie on the fixed supports 16, 17 which carry the cams, so that the upward movement of the tongues 14, 15 takes place when the strips 20, 21 slide over them. Tie rods 26, 27 are articulated to bars 2o, 2i (FIGS. 1 and 2), which are driven by levers 28, 29 and rods 30-31 with the aid of the curves. The drive could also take place in any other way. The roller 32 is cyclically moved by the eccentric shaft by transmission from 34 and 35 and, at the right moment, conveys the sheet 2 into the feed rollers 3, 4.
