Cutting and welding torches for liquid fuel are the subject of the
Invention is a cutting and welding torch for liquid fuel with a
An evaporator heated by an auxiliary flame and one in the axis of the evaporator
Longitudinally displaceable oxygen supply pipe. The invention consists in
that between the outer evaporator jacket and the oxygen supply pipe an intermediate pipe
is arranged, which in a known manner with helical grooves, turns
o. The like. Is provided and in which the oxygen tube is longitudinally displaceable. Through this
is achieved that the fuel is known per se winding path through the evaporator chamber
is granted and still the oxygen tube is longitudinally displaceable. Furthermore lets
by fitting the oxygen tube well into the grooved central tube
metallic heat conduction path from the outer parts heated by the carburetor flame
create to the oxygen tube.
dargestellt. In the drawings are some exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention
shown.
Fig. I shows a first embodiment in section; Fig. 2 is
a section through the upper part of the burner according to FIG. i in one to the plane of the drawing
vertical plane; Fig. 3 and 4 are sections through upper parts from Brennerv with different
executed evaporation chamber.
In the burner according to FIG. 1, the fuel flows through the inlet 7 and the tube 56 to the evaporator chamber, which will also be described. The oxygen enters through inlet 26 . The oxygen line branches off just after the inlet. One branch leads via a pipe 2g, a valve m arranged in a metal block 22 and opened by a handle 51, a line 50 and from here to the burner head. The other branch line leads via a small connecting line 3o to a centrally arranged oxygen tube 35, which is longitudinally adjustable by means of a screw sleeve 38 attached to it. The upper part of the oxygen tube 35 lies in the axis of an intermediate tube 6o, which in turn is arranged in the outer evaporator jacket 58. The intermediate pipe 6o is externally provided with helical grooves 61 which, together with the evaporator jacket 58, form a helically wound path for the fuel entering through the pipe 56, which is fed to the burner head in the usual manner after passing through the evaporator chamber. Appropriately, the oxygen tube 35 touches the grooved inner tube 6o metallic, and this in turn is metallic z. B. by means of the wide, the side walls of the groove 61 forming webs 62 to the outer tube 58, so that a metallic, thermally conductive connection between the heated by the auxiliary flame evaporator wall and the oxygen tube is created.
In the embodiment of Figure 3, the intermediate tube 78 is with a
Meandering winding groove 79, 8o provided, which is just in that zone of the evaporator
lies, in which the heating flame washes around the outside of the tube 58.
In the embodiment according to FIG. Q. the intermediate tube is as spiral
formed wound tube 81, the turns of which are in metallic contact with
the outer wall of the oxygen tube 35 and the inner wall of the evaporator jacket
58 stand, so that here, too, a metallically conductive connection between the preheating flame
and sour. material flow is established.
