Description
Advertising kaleidoscope with two lenses The subject of the invention is a kaleidoscope with two lenses, one of which projects the image, the other the advertising. The arrangement of the kaleidoscope lens a to the mirrors k and to the advertising lens p is new. The normal projection with parallel capsule, image and lens surfaces brings with it considerable blurring that destroys the beauty of the ornaments, since the kaleidoscope lens a can never lie in the sector tip of the image to be projected c, d. The present lens arrangement eliminates this error in that the axis of the lens is inclined to the longitudinal axis of the mirror prism and the image surface B and falls approximately on point e in front of the mirrors h, which is the apparent center of the image to be projected. This results in an equally sharp projection above and below, since a proportion of the distances f1: / 4 = f2: / g is approximately achieved. Further light blurring, which results from the fact that the advertising light cone cuts through the image light cone, which is always the case with centrally arranged ornament and advertising images, is eliminated by placing the lens a so far to the side that its light cone g, a, h with the advertising light cone g, p, f is tangent at point g. The advertising cone thus embraces the kaleidoscope image cone in a crescent shape without cutting it. It is cut out in zone b. 2 and 3 show that the advertising light cone can be covered in any shape in its periphery and only touches and includes the ornament image on the sheet r, s.
