Verfahren zur Herstellung von metallurgischem Koks aus schlecht backender
und gasreicher Kohle Gegenstand der Erfindung, ist ein Verfahren zur .Herstellung

gewisse tJerbesserung des Kokses eintritt. so war diese Verbesserung meist jc.,locli
nicht so groß, daß die für die Absiebung des Anteils von t mm Kornrröße erforduriichen
Kosten und die zugleich infolge der A'osiebung entstehende Verminderung iler Erzeugung
etwa durch einen höheren Verkaufskreis des so erzeugten Kokses wieder wettgemacht
werden konnte. Ein anderer bekannter Vorschlag bezieht sich darauf. der Kokskohle
vor der Verkokung Koksgrus zuzusetzen. Diese -:Maßnahme hat sich fedoch nicht bewährt,
viele Versuche mit Saarkohle in dieser Hinsicht haben vielmehr gezeigt. daß in manchen

wenn der Koksgrus vor dem Zusetzen zur lZßlcskohle zur Entfernung der in ihm enthaltenen
@_schebestandteiie gewaschen und wieder getrocknet wird. Der nach dein Verfahren
nach der Erfindung hergestellte Koks zeigt hohe Festigkeit und große. Unempfindlichkeit
gegen Abrieb. Auch der Anfall an Koksgrus wird wesentlich verringert. Außerdem wird
bei dem Verfahren nach der Erfindung noch der Vorteil erzielt, daß die früher gebräuchlichen
besonderen Magerungsmittel in Fortfall kommen können, daß vielmehr sämtliche für
