Connection device for bicycles The invention is used to store bicycles
and has the special purpose of keeping the bike in a horizontal or vertical position
to keep connected. There are already devices known that either on
are based on the principle that the bike is held by the weight of the bike itself,
or on the hold of the wheel by hand-operated locks with retaining brackets
to accomplish. In contrast, in the invention, the hold of the bicycle is through
the use of a movable wheel pressure rail piece in connection with two gripper arms
achieved with the aid of spring force; this device also allows
by arranging a bolt construction, the bike can be joined together alone or in groups
to be connected thief-proof.

In the housing a, the rail b is mounted so as to be displaceable forwards and backwards, and at its front end it bears the hinge c to which the wheel pressure rail piece d is movably attached. The rail b is further provided with an elongated hole e through which the axis of rotation f of the two gripping levers g leads, the bolt 1a on which the two connecting levers i engage, the roof-shaped projection k, an incision l for engaging an arbitrarily designed spring zit and in the case of automatic closure with the breakthrough st. The axis of rotation f is fixedly mounted in the housing d and serves as a fulcrum for the gripping lever g. The approach k. the Schnepper o, which is guided by guide pins p and can perform a forward and backward movement, is applied. It is attacked by the two springs q and r , which press it against the roof-shaped extension k of the rail b. For the theft protection of a series system, which can be done from one point, the locking rod s is arranged above the rail b on the housing a, guided against evasion, movable in the longitudinal direction, which carries the snap bolt t in bores, which an open - and downward movement and are beveled at their lower end. The springs u press these latches t onto the rail b. The latches themselves can snap into the recesses in the rails b (FIG. 5). The connection device itself is stored in a sheet metal or wooden body and attached to the wall. The operation of the connecting device is as follows: In Fig. 3 the subject of the invention is shown in the closed position and the front bicycle wheel is held in that the front tire with rim is on the one hand enclosed by the wheel pressure rail piece d to protect it from falling sideways, on the other hand by the gripping levers g that are covered with fabric or rubber to protect against damage to the wheel rims. The gripping levers g press the wheel tire against the rail section d and prevent the bicycle from running back. The pressing takes place under the action of the spring q and r in that the rail b is pressed backwards by the inclined engagement surfaces of the projection k and the snap o, which is supported by the spring m. The gripping levers g are pivoted about their fulcrum f and pressed against the wheel pressure rail piece d by the bolt lt, on which the two links i engage. The bicycle is held in place (Figs. 3 and 4); if it is to be removed from the holding device, pull on the bike. The two gripping levers g are thereby pressed apart, as a result of which the rail b is pushed forward against the spring force by means of the link i. Due to the inclined attachment surfaces of the roof-shaped extension k, the catch o is at the same time pressed backwards against the spring force q and r and snaps backwards against the rail b behind the extension k. He thereby causes the further opening of the gripping levers g and holds them in their C ° open position, since the two springs q and r together are stronger than the spring m. The wheel lock is open. If a wheel is to be stored, it is easily retracted into the wheel retaining lock (Fig. I or 2), pressed with light pressure on the wheel pressure rail piece d, which, with the assistance of the spring, is pushed back into the rail b against the spring force q and r of the bolt o and thereby the gripping levers are closed by means of the handlebars i.
verschlossen. After a short backward movement of the rail b and thus of the extension k, the catch o snaps over the extension k and thereby presses the rail b further back with the aid of the spring force q and r. In this way he brings about the complete closing of the device. The front wheel of the bicycle is thus held by the combined force of the three springs in, q and r , while the retraction itself only takes place by overcoming a spring force q. Through the backward movement of the rail b, the opening n, which can be arranged in any way, emerges from the housing a of the holding device and can be secured against forward movement and thus against arbitrary removal of the bicycle by a snap, a bolt or a lock. This device (Fig. 5) allows the locking of a whole bicycle stand system by means of a single handle, so that probably no more bicycle can be removed from the system and so each bicycle is secured against theft, while bicycles can be retracted into the open wheelbases at any time and lock automatically without further action and secure against removal. The locking takes place in such a way that the locking rod s is longitudinally displaced and thereby the latches t come to sit on the rail b, against the spring force u. In all devices in which bicycles are already set, the Schnepper t in. The recesses st of the rail b snap and secure them against being pulled forward. With all other holding devices, the latches t will come to sit on the rail b. If a bicycle is now retracted into a holding device that is still open, the rail b is pushed back at the same time and the latch t snaps into the exception st, whereby this wheelbase is now also secured. The locking rod s is locked to prevent unauthorized unlocking of the wheel holding system.
Rückwärtsbewegung der Schiene b und damit des Raddruckführungsstückes d.The wheel pressure rail piece d has limited mobility on the rail
b attached so that you can always snuggle up to the relevant bicycle front wheel,
regardless of deviations and differences in the size of the wheel diameter
and wheel tires. The inclusion of the. Bicycle front wheel can also counter to the radial

two padded cams are shifted while maintaining the fore and aft
Backward movement of the rail b and thus of the wheel pressure guide piece d.
