Description
High pressure headbox on Fourdrinier paper machines The high speeds of modern paper machines meant that the thinned paper stock in the usual way by means of a loading table and format trolley with foam slats more could be performed, since to a certain extent the great speed of the under The fourdrinier sliding away from him could no longer hold the paper stock sufficiently. One was therefore forced to use the Fourdrinier at speeds of over zoo m to give an inclination, in such a way that the substance, as it were, with the Sieve flowing down the mountain together, d. H. the level of the run-up table with the Breast roll was placed higher than z. B. was the surface of the suction boxes. However this species also failed at the high speeds over zoo m and emerged so the high pressure headbox. The basic principle of the high pressure headbox exists in a tall, narrow box, the long walls of which span the entire width of the machine range and the side walls are relatively short, in this box the tapered fabric is held at a certain height. This height creates the Thinned paper stock, considered as a water column, has a certain hydrostatic Pressure on the sieve running below. This pressure forces the thinned paper stock, to deposit more fabric fibers on the screen than this in one and the same unit of time possible with the usual flat headbox with format trolleys and foam slats is. However, here too there are certain limits, as in practice a certain height the headbox or the hydrostatic pressure are limited.
The purpose of the present invention is now the inflow to the sieve to accelerate the diluted paper stock in the high pressure headbox. For this purpose, instead of one or both of the longitudinal walls of the headbox running tapes used. These tapes can be made of rubber, impregnated fabric, etc., but can also be made of metal and the like. Appropriately, these Ribbons have a rough surface on their side facing the thinned paper stock exhibit.
In Fig. R an example embodiment is shown, wherein the longitudinal wall the headbox furthest from the breast roller running tape is replaced.
Fig. ä stellt dieselbe Zeichnung im Grundriß dar.Fig. Ä shows the same drawing in plan.
Fig. 3 shows an example embodiment, with both longitudinal walls of the casserole box can be replaced by running belts.
Fig. Q. Figure 3 illustrates the plan of Figure 3. Figure 5 is an example execution the arrangement of the running belt M and provides the head outlet from the cloth box.
Brustwalze B, a Anpreßwalze an die Führungswalze z.B is the breast roll, S is the Fourdrinier wire, K is the headbox, WW is the side walls of the headbox, 1Y1 is the running belt which is on the headbox side, N is the running belt which is on the opposite side, R 'and R2, z the guide rollers for the running belt 111, s' the tension roller for the running belt M, Ry and R4 the guide rollers for the running belt N, s2 the tensioning roller for the running belt N, d sealing roller between the guide roller R4 and fourdrinier S or breast roller B, a Pressure roller to the guide roller z.
1T.In order to give the liquid paper stock movement within the headbox K between its side walls WW , the running belts 11l or N or 1Y1 and N are driven independently. This drive is expediently carried out from the breast roll and is designed in such a way that the speed of the running belt or belts can be regulated in such a way that each belt is driven separately and its speed can be adjusted as required. It is thus possible to let each of the belts run slower than the wire, as fast or faster than the Fourdrinier wire S. The running belts close tightly to the side walls WW of the headbox K and are sealed so that leakage of the material is prevented . In order to accelerate the movement of the paper stock in the headbox towards the Fourdrinier wire, the belts can expediently be equipped with a more or less rough surface. The tensioning rollers s' / and s2 are used to re-tension the corresponding running belts M and 1T, respectively.
The paper outlet or the thickness of the paper is regulated and adjusted in a very simple manner by the present invention. For this purpose (see Fig. 5) the running belt M below, after it has been guided around the guide roller R2, is guided around a guide roller z, the height of the latter being adjustable, like the two no arrows in Fig. 5 indicate. The guide roller is designed or supported so stable that it extends parallel at the same height over the entire wire width of the Fourdrinier S without bending. It is thus easily possible, by setting the guide roller z once, for a certain type of paper to set the paper thickness and therefore the gram weight and to keep it constant. At very high speeds and in order to avoid unnecessary vortices and the like when exiting, a pressure roller a can be placed on the guide roller, in such a way that this pressure roller a can be set as desired in its position relative to the guide roller.
The present invention thus gives rise to the possibility of to give the fabric fibers in the headbox a different speed, like this z. B. to run the current tape 1W faster than the current tape N, so enough paper fibers also in the upturned paper layer on the sieve come to rest. Since the possibility of regulation by one or both running belts If it is a large one, it is readily understandable that the possibility exists is, for each type of paper, the most appropriate speed of the to set running tapes and thus to produce a paper that is in-his Structure is uniform and also with the highest possible machine speeds to work.
