Description
Device for the manufacture of objects by electrolytic Deposition of metal on a mold when forming parts on electroplating Way these parts have already been put together in such a way that they are part of the Wall = of a vessel in which the electrolytic bath is arranged. The present invention relates to such manufacture of metallic Objects. It is characterized by the fact that the forms are based on galvanic Way to be formed, appear as depressions from walls. which solvable are attached to the vessel rack. There is a lining over the inner side of the walls curious, however, to release the depressions in comparison with these Wells are provided finitely corresponding to delimited holes. This feed ensures thus not only for the sealing of the walls against the vessel frame: it protects also "those parts of the walls that are not recessed and therefore not molded" - ground should, against the assumption of a 'metal precipitate. Have the detachable wall parts in the boundaries of the \% deepened grooves. The holes in the lining are a little smaller now than the surface of the depressions, and through the pressure of the bath, the nacligi (! i) ige Chuck pressed into the grooves and also into the edge of the X "indentations.
The drawing shows exemplary embodiments of the device as well as various usable shapes. Fig. I shows a graph Support frame for attaching a number of forms that together form a frame for Form inclusion of the electrolytic bath.

Abb. 7 ist ein Querschnitt durch eine abgeänderte Ausführungsform der Einrichtung, und Abb. 8 ist ein Querschnitt nach VIII-VIII der Abb. 7.Figure 7 is a cross-section through a modified embodiment of the device, and Fig. 8 is a cross-section along VIII-VIII of Fig. 7.
In Figs. 4 to 6, the body of the mold preferably made of 1letall is denoted by i. This body essentially adapts to the shape of the inner surface 2 of the same, but this is not absolutely necessary. This inner surface z is that part of the mold on which the Jektroh-table 'precipitate is deposited in forte of a metal layer 3. As shown in various figures of the drawing, the shape and the surface on which the precipitate is deposited can have any shape. This inner surface can simplicity finit Eniptatigrs- the flat Forin called "-erden, and these can curse finit any recesses or I: i-liölituigeil be provided for receiving a correspondingly shaped article manufacture. It is possible to produce objects with the most varied of decorations in this stone. The shapes shown are parts of a larger shape, such as that shown in Figure 3. This larger shape consists of a plate 4. which has a number of recesses which have the shape and size of the objects to be manufactured. -Each recess is surrounded by a Tut 6 in the vicinity of its outer circumference, the purpose of which will be explained in more detail later.
A number of the shapes 4, as shown in Figure 3, is arranged on a support frame, as shown, for example, in Fig. i is. This support frame comprises vertical posts 7, _ which together with upper and lower support frame 8 form a rectangular frame. The edges of the top and lower support frames 8 are provided with flanges 9, which are used to hold the Mold plates are used, as shown in Figs. I and 2. The supports become yielding Rubber plate _i o stretched and fastened. This record, which one too other suitable pliable material is with a number of holes i i provided, which are in cover with the recesses 5 of the mold plates, however, are slightly smaller than the latter, so that when the mold plates are between the flanges g of the upper and lower frames are fitted, then the rims 12 the holes in the rubber layer protrude over the inner edges of the indentations, as the figure 2 shows. The support frame is provided with a base plate i3, and if the mold plates .4 are arranged on the sides of the support frame, like the Fig. 2 shows then form the mold plates together with the support frame and the Base plate 13 a container which is suitable for receiving the electrolytic bath is. This electrolytic bath can flow into this container in any way and flow out again, which is done, for example, by a pump, that associated with any suitable storage capacity of the electrolytic bath stands.
When the electrolytic bath in the manner described above produced container is introduced, then by the pressure of the liquid the resilient material io pressed against the inner surfaces of the mold plate 4, and as a result of the grooves 6 which surround the recesses in the mold plate, any Fluid, which lies between the inner skin of the l-orm and the guninliscliicht (lurclileclct. enter these grooves 6, from where they are discharged to the outside through a channel will. This discharge of the seeping through the (lumniiscliiclit and the mold plate Liquid by means of the grooves 6 has the consequence. that the pressure of the liquid in the container always a good seal between the resilient layer and the Maintains inner surface of the mold plates, because the pliable layer is always pushed outwards. to create a tight seal.
When by the electrolytic bath in on. a well-known way Electric current is passed through it to deposit a layer of metal 3 on the inner surface 2 of the mold plate, then those parts the mold plate, which are covered by the rubber layer, not finite one deposited metal layer, while the inner surfaces of the @ 'recesses be provided with an even metal layer. namely the fat ones the layers in all depressions perfectly the same, and the edges of those formed Objects become perfectly sharp and free from lumps or irregular formed, roughened edges, so that quite a substantial saving in material is achieved. If you have rubber clips in connection with the grooved rear surfaces If the mold plates are used, then there are special clamping devices to hold the rubber layer pressing against the inner surface of the mold plates is not necessary. Furthermore can produce a large number of objects simultaneously in the manner described. In this way, objects of different shapes can be produced at the same time by making appropriately shaped indentations or molds and rubber layers used. The anodes are forced into the container formed by the mold. and these anodes and the forms acting as cathodes are electrically connected via a Current duels connected to each other in the usual way. In the picture 4 is the rubber plate or another lining io provided with grooves or recesses 6 °, which have exactly the same effect as the 'grooves G in the F orinplatten. If the good 6'1 are arranged. then of course it is not necessary (li11. the grooves 6 to be arranged on the inner surface of the mold plates.
In Figs. 5 and 6 different shapes are shown that are used for 1-I madeillg y011 correspondingly shaped Gca; enstün (lcn serve. It is, however of course, (leave the fortunes any forin and can have shape, d. H. they can be rectangular, elastic or even hollow or even be arched inward or arched outward.
Figs. 7 and 8 show a modified embodiment of the invention, in which a sealing plate 16 between the Ab- (light plate io and your Support frame; is arranged. As shown in Figure 7, sealing member 16 is preferably made from a rubber sheet, which is cut out in such a way that it only covers the wooden Frame. and 13 and the cross supports covered. The inner edge 17 of this rubber layer protrudes inward beyond the parts of the frame. Then the sealing member io placed on the sealing member 16, and then the shapes i in the already described manner attached. The sealing member 16 can be attached to the support structure to be nailed. however, while the sealing member preferably has the shapes i is removable.
If the container assembled from the forms - @; i with an electrolytic Bath is filled, then the liquid presses against the protruding inner Edges 17 of the sealing member 16, causing this edge against the rubber layer to is pressed in exactly the same way as the protruding edge 12 of the rubber layer io is pressed against the inner surface of the mold plates. It will in this way a seal between the frame and the rubber layer 12 is achieved.
It goes without saying that according to the above description, the use of individual mold plates which are provided with finite grooves in the manner described. and when using collaborative. compliant sealing materials a simple and economical device arises, which for the production of Objects made of electroformed metal can be used. It is also evident (leave the shapes of the depressions as well as the training of the individual shapes themselves In various ways we are inclined to incorporate and define forms can use a Stürh, which a cylinder (: the straight or any have other Forin. without thereby changing the essence of the experience.
