Description

Bei den bekannten Wabenrahmen für Bienenstöcke, welche aus vier gleichartigen Leisten zusammengesetzt sind, ergibt sich häufig der Übelstand, daß die Bienen in dem relativ schmalen Zwischenraum zwischen der Oberleiste des Rahmens und dem oberen Deckel oder Zwischenboden des Stockes Wachs einbauen, so daß beim Herausnehmen der Rahmen erst der Widerstand dieser Wachsverbindung, oft unter Anwendung \'on Werkzeugen, überwunden werden muß. Dabei ist es natürlich oft nicht zu vermeiden, daß die Wabe Brüche erleidet oder sogar Stücke derselben herausfallen. Der Trog bietet überdies noch den Vorteil, daß er als Futter- oder W^Tassertrog für die Bienen dienen kann. Damit werden besondere Futter- und Tränkgeräte entbehrlich.
