Drive device on fascines for casting stereotype plates Die
The invention relates to a drive device on automatic casting machines
of stereotype plates, in which the shaft from which the casting mold passes through any
Middle -z. B. by a crank mechanism - is moved by a mounted on it
Crank arm is driven by means of a second crank arm. According to the invention
When the mold starts to open, the two crank arms are at such an angle
to each other that the driven crank arm moves at a lower angular speed
, moves as the driving crank arm.
This facility makes the mold initially slow and then slow
opened with increasing speed. As a result, the die of the
newly cast plate stripped with slow movement of the casting tray without
thereby the total time of the automatic casting process including the closing
and opening the mold needs to be extended.

namely show: Fig. i a side view of the machine with the mold closed,

Fig. I and 2.
i eingreift.
i zunächst langsam und dann mit immer zunehmender Geschwindigkeit vom Gießkern a
entfernt.
The mold consists of the core piece a and the shell b. The core piece a is carried by the frame d rotatable about the point c, while the casting bowl is moved up and down by the crankshaft f of the coulisse c of the frame d. At the end of the crankshaft f, a crank arm g is attached, which at the end carries a crank pin lt which engages in the slot of the crank loop i. The axis k of the crank loop i is stationary, while the axis f of the crankshaft swings with the frame d around the point c. The slider crank i is driven by the motor L by means of a suitable transmission through the elliptical gears na, n. At the moment the mold is opened, the axis f of the crankshaft is above the axis k of the slider crank i, so that the crank pin lt is closest to the axis k in this rotational position. As a result, when the slider crank i is rotated, the crank arm g is moved at a lower angular velocity in comparison to the slider crank i and is rotated more slowly than in any other rotational position. The casting shell b is therefore initially slowly removed from the casting core a by the movement of the slider crank i and then at an ever increasing speed. At the same time, the frame d rotates about the axis c, so that the crank axis f comes into the position illustrated in Fig. 2 relative to the axis k.
At the beginning of the opening of the mold a, b there is a short radius of the elliptical wheel in opposite to a long radius of the elliptical wheel iz, so that the speed of the axis k is lowest due to the translation of the two elliptical wheels in this angular position.
The effects of the elliptical gears zn, st of the slider crank i and des
Crank arm g at the time in question of opening the mold add up
such that the detachment of the die from the cast plate proceeds extremely slowly
is going; but the total time of the casting process is not extended.
