Description

Method of winding wooden pipes The manufacture of wound As is known, wooden pipes are made in such a way that the single-layer or multi-layer wooden web is continuously wound around a core. There can also be several wooden tracks wrapped around the core one after the other. Usually this is the front The end of the wooden web is held in a slot in the core, or the winding takes place with the help of a wrapping tape, so that the leading edge of the wooden web, which is the end of the first turn and, due to its stiffness, has the tendency to be about to bend tangentially from the core, is forced to lay against the 'core. the end the schematic representation in Fig. i it can be seen that the wooden web a, the three quarters of the first turn around core b, i.e. up to the point of intersection with the arrow, pressed against the core, is intended, while the last quarter of this first turn is not pressed against the core, protrudes and a correct further winding prevented by rolling up in the direction of the arrow. A very small sticking out of this Edge from the core will usually be tolerated so that the wrapping is not completely tight of the core and therefore the finished wound tube better off the core to be able to withdraw.

The invention solves the known and solved problem in that at least part of the first turn of the wooden web before the actual winding under the known application of heat is preformed so that the first turn is sufficient for a good wrapping of the core, followed by the mechanical winding further layers no longer cause difficulties. This preform under heating So here is a machine operation in itself, while the one that follows later The winding operation can now also be carried out cold.

An exemplary embodiment is shown schematically in FIGS. The wooden track ei initially had that indicated in FIG. 2, partly with dotted lines flat shape, whereupon first the fitting c, then the fitting d and finally the fitting e have brought this wooden track into the form shown in deep black. These fittings or the core or both are very hot, about 100 ° C or even more. The wooden sheet a then retains this shape even after the fittings have been removed c, d and e at, so that now the winding, z. B. in the manner indicated in Figure 3, that is, between two surfaces f moving parallel to one another, easily possible is.

Claims (1)

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zum Wickehi von Holzrohren, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die zum Umwickeln des Kernes dienenden Holzbahnen vor dem Wickeln unter der bekannten Anwendung von Hitze derart vorgeformt werden, daß die Schlußstelle der ersten Windung beim Wickeln selbsttätig genügend gegen den Kern anliegt, ohne an dieser Stelle von außen gegen den Kern angedrückt zu werden.PATENT CLAIM: Process for wicking wooden pipes, characterized in that that the wooden webs used for wrapping the core before wrapping under the known application of heat are preformed in such a way that the final point of the first turn automatically rests sufficiently against the core during winding, without to be pressed against the core from the outside at this point.
