Foot projection apparatus for observing the tread surface Den
The present invention provides an improvement in foot projectors
to observe the sole tread, in which in a known manner under
a plate made of glass or the like serving as a tread. An inclined mirror is arranged
is. The innovation is that in the mirror axis an erecting lens and a
obliquely downwardly directed, extendable bellows with ground glass are arranged.
Furthermore, the image of the sole of the foot projected onto the screen is shown in a new way
caught by a vertical mirror facing the person to be examined.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is illustrated,
namely Fig. t shows the longitudinal section of the foot projection apparatus in schematic form
Representation, Fig. A is a graphical representation of the same in use.
The apparatus consists of a housing a, the top plate b of which can be reached through a step c, which can be arranged either on the rear side, as shown in Fig. I, or on the side, as can be seen in Fig. Z. In the surface of the plate b, a glass plate d is embedded, which is kept so large and chosen to be sufficiently strong that a pair of feet of any size can comfortably fit on it and that withstands the loads. In the box d, a headlight e is arranged so that it throws the light rays against the underside of the glass plate d at an oblique angle. A mirror f set up at an oblique angle is also set up under the glass plate d. At a certain distance from the mirror a lens g is inserted in the box a and above the latter at a certain distance a ground glass h. The ground glass h is connected to the box a by means of a bellows 2 which can be adjusted in its longitudinal direction. ' connected, as is common practice in photographic apparatus or other types of projection apparatus. A mirror k stands vertically in front of the ground glass h and is arranged so that it is easily accessible to the eyes of those standing on the glass plate d.
The mode of operation of the apparatus is as follows: The rays of light will be
thrown against the underside of the glass plate d, as shown in Fig. i.
The resulting image of the soles of the feet is taken from the mirror f, which is below the
Glass plate d is set up at a certain angle, caught and through the
Lens thrown g. This reverses the image and throws it on through the screen h
the mirror h. The image projected onto it is now the one on the glass plate
Person who now clearly sees the nature of their own feet,
accessible and can also be viewed and evaluated by anyone else.
In structural terms, the apparatus can be designed in any way
be. For example, as shown in Fig. Z, it is advisable to place it on the box
a to provide a railing on which the person to be examined can comfortably hold on
can. In addition, a scale would be used to make it easier to determine the foot dimensions
Recommended on the screen, which makes it possible to see from the mirror image of the mirror
k directly read off the required dimensions of the feet without any effort and so in the shortest possible time
Time to make the necessary measurements.
