Description

Production of phosphoric acid and hydrogen It is known to add phosphorus to water higher temperatures and under increased Pressure to phosphoric acid and hydrogen to add. It has now been found that this with advantage instead of water anhydrous phos- can use phosphoric acid. The advantage this way of working consists in @ that one without further ado a concentrated P., 0 " rich Phosphoric Acid Receives. The resulting Phosphoric acid has a higher content -in phosphorus pentoxide as anhydrous ortho- phosphoric acid (73, - [11 " P., 0 ,,) represents So a pyro- or metaphosphoric acid or represent a mixture of both. settlement of any hydrogen phosphide formed can according to known methods in pure Hydrogen and phosphoric acid transferred "-earth. In the same way as described above, can also use the lower levels of oxidation Iles phosphorus, e.g. B. anhydrous phosphorous Acid, with anhydrous phosphoric acid too Acids with a higher phosphorus pentoxide content and hydrogen converted «to earth. The resulting acid can be added water can easily be converted into orthophosphoric acid be convicted of loving concentration. A part becomes functional only so far with Diluted water, (1a11 anhydrous 0r tho- phosphoric acid is produced, which is then used for further Implementation of phosphorus can be used can. Example i io parts of yellow phosphorus become 85 Part of crystallized phosphoric acid 300 ° heated under pressure. You get one Acid with 80% phosphorus pentoxide. example 100 parts of red phosphorus become 85 Parts of crystallized phosphoric acid at 300 ° heated under pressure. The acid obtained is 77Pl'ozelitig, calculated as 1 '., C) ;. Example 3 10 parts crystallized phosphorous acid are with 3o parts of crystallized phosphor phosphoric acid in the autoclave for four hours 32o ' heated. -You get a mixture of Ortho- and p_vrophosphoric acid in addition to pure Hydrogen.
