In dem Gestelle A ist die Welle H gelagert, welche in der Mitte eine Riemscheibe bildet und an beiden Enden mit den Hebeln C verbunden ist. Die letzteren sind an den oberen Enden mit Lagerköpfen versehen, welche die Walze B aufnehmen. Die obere Fläche A¹ des Gestelles A bildet den sogen. Arbeitstisch, auf welchem das Wickelverfahren stattfindet. Fig. 2 zeigt diesen Arbeitstisch mit den verschiedenen Stellungen der Hebel bezw. Die Maschine arbeitet auf folgende Weise:
