Abstract
The antenna has a radiation surface (7) arranged at a lateral distance to an electrically conductive ground plane (3) and running parallel to the plane. A dielectric carrier (5) is arranged between the plane and surface. The surface is electrically connected with an electrically conductive feeder line. A supporting device (19) is provided directly/indirectly on the surface opposite to the plane. A patch unit (13) is provided on the supporting device opposite to the surface, where the device has a thickness or height that is smaller than the thickness or height of the patch unit.
