Abstract

A noise deflecting unit is assembled of several parallel arranged horizontally positioned elements (1) inserted with their outer ends into the spaces provided at vertical carrying elements in the shape of aluminum H-profiles (4). The lower ends of the profiles (4) are accommodated in concrete bases (6). Each outer end (3) of a noise absorbing element (1) is enveloped by a plastic cover with a non-conductive main part and rings at the outer ends made of a conductive material.
