Abstract

The invention relates to a system comprising an electric razor (1) and a guiding device (13). The razor (1) is provided with a hand-held housing (2) and a shaving head (4) with several shaving systems (5, 6). The guiding device (13) encompasses a support surface (19) for resting the shaving head (4) on the skin. The disclosed razor (1) can be operated in a first mode of operation in which the shaving head (4) rests on the skin by means of the support surface (19) of the guiding device (13) during the shaving process. The inventive system is characterized in that the guiding device (13) can de deactivated by moving the same relative to the shaving systems (5, 6), whereupon the razor (1) can be operated in a second mode of operation in which the shaving head (4) does not rest on the skin by means of the support surface (19) of the guiding device (13) during the shaving process.
