Abstract

The floor nozzle has a first function position for cleaning wide floor surfaces and a second position for narrow floor surfaces. The nozzle has a suction head (1) with a base surface defined by two broad sides (2) and two narrow sides (3). It also has a tilt hinge (4) comprising a channel connector piece (5) shaped to the shape of the suction head, and a pivotal channel section. A curved section of tube (7) with an approx. 90 deg. curve, is connected in a rotatable manner with the moveable channel section (6) of the hinge, and has a connector end for a suction tube. The moveable channel section is pivoted in the first position such that the rotary axis of the rotary connection between the curved tube and the moveable section slopes downwards to the floor. In the second position, the moveable section is pivoted so far into the channel connector piece that the rotary axis of the connection is horizontal.
