Abstract

The fiberboard, using fibers with a lignocellulose content and a polyurethane glue as the bonding agent, has a mean bulk density of 350 kg/m<3>. The density curve in the core (1) is constant over a range of two-thirds of the board thickness (s), symmetrically to the center (M). The deviation between the mean density at the core and the maximum density at the covering layer (2) is a maximum of 15% and, at the most, 30 kg/m<3>.
