Abstract

The sheet-fed rotary printer has a sheet-feeder(12), a sheet-delivery (14), several printers and or operating units. First sheet-conveyors (8,9) convey the printed sheets through all the printing zones and are positioned on the underside of the printers (1-4) or operating units. Further sheet-conveyors (11), in the form of a continuous chain-conveyor system, convey the printed sheets contrary to the direction of the printing process and are positioned above the printers. The sheet-feeder and delivery are parallel on the same side of the sheet-fed rotary printer and are connected by a joint stacking conveyor system.
