Regelungsgliieder oder Luftzufüh-In the case of traveling pegs, the fuel should be on
be completely or nearly burned out at the rear end. The natural consequence of this
is that 'the layer of fuel on the. last
Third of the grate is considerably less than on the first part of this grate, where 'the
Coal is in the highest shaft. As the air now takes the path of least resistance
is looking, too much air will pass through the last third of the grate. One has
therefore the device has already been made, the air supply to the individual grate stalls, in particular
on the front, middle and rear grate part, to be regulated independently of each other.
For this purpose, built-in grate tracks are used between the upper and lower grate tracks

The subject of the invention is a special embodiment 'of this scheme in a
Traveling grate with natural draft, in such a way that leaving the middle one free
Grate part under the front and the rear
Locking ax at a distance from the lower grate track is built in a box that
below in a known manner with louvre flaps and at its the Beschidcungsende
the end facing the grate is provided with a regulating device.
.This is intended to have a great ability to regulate for the purpose of adapting · to each
Boiler load and at the same time the possibility are created by the
Collect rust falling fuel and ash separately.
In the drawing, a traveling grate with a natural train according to the invention in the
Longitudinal section shown.
Luft .eintreten.The air control boxes α and c do not go down to the lower grate track, but are located above this so that the necessary amount of air can still pass between the bottom of the air boxes and the lower track when the flap is opened charcoal is necessary on the middle and last part of the Kegenden grate. In addition, air can also enter through the grate gaps in the lower grate path, as indicated by the arrows.
During normal operation, the bases of the air control boxes are u! and c closed by the flaps d and d 1 , while the middle part δ of the traveling grate is free and always receives its full air. The combustion air required for the first and last part of the traveling grate enters through the flaps and e 1 on the front of the boxes. The combustion air for the middle and rear part of the traveling grate flows in the direction shown by the arrows below. The upper flaps and e 1 are dimensioned such that, when they are fully open, enough air can enter for normal operation. The closed bottom flaps during normal operation serve to achieve a separate collection of the charcoal and the diarrhea ashes. As is well known, the coal fall occurs right behind the coal funnel, where the coal has not yet baked together, and accordingly falls into the front air box α , while the ashes mainly fall into the rear air box c . This makes it so has it in hand, once or twice a day, the bottom flaps ^ and open d 1 and remove fold the coal and to promote by vo> rn are during closed again after taken away by fallen coal and the flaps d , the flaps d 1 are opened and the ashes fall through. At, maximum operation, the required additional amount of air is achieved by opening the lower flap end and d 1 . During weak operation, the rear air box c is completely closed.
