Basen oder Säuren nach Art vieler in sich geschlossener Elemente hat ein Ausscheiden
des einen Teils zur Folge, so daß der andere Teil als gitterförmiges oder schwamrnartiges
Gebilde übrigbleibt und etwa vorhandene Metalloxyde eine Reduktion erleiden. Dieser
Prozeß kann durch Wärmezuführung von außen noch beschleunigt und verbessert werden.
